Mevagissey
Mevagissey is a picturesque fishing port with an active fishing industry, attractive harbour side village, with small windy streets; recently featured in ‘Cornwall a Fishing Life’ (BBC) Famous for being the 2nd largest Cornish port, catching large shoals of Pilchards back in the day.
Attracting visitors, celebrities and film makers, based on the South Coast, directly opposite Newquay.
Very close to the lost gardens of Heligan, The Eden Project Or just a few miles across St. Austell Bay to the historic port of Charlestown or Fowey.
